A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE.

Nested in the urban idle that is The london borough of Twickenham, is a labour of love that has enabled the preservation of a history that would not have been totally lost, but would have been scattered asunder were it not for the efforts of founder and curator of the Eel Pie Museum Michelle Whitby.
More than a resident of the iconic island that was birthplace of 1960’s style, music, fashion and art, but an entusiast for the extended history that brought about the creative counter culture we now lovingly look back to as The Swinging Sixties. The bridge below was crossed by many an  iconic figure of today in the early days 0f their obscurity to do what at the time motivated and drove them unaware that they were spearheading a movement that was about to engulf the world.
Then in the 1960’s as now in the 2020’s, The Island, as it is affectionate known by its residents, is made up of a community of creative types of all kinds and in all fields and businessses integral to the character and keeping of
